VELOZ WARRANTY
Coverage Limitations
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental misapplication, normal wear and tear, dents from road debris, impact collisions, or intentional damage of any kind.
Filing a Claim
To file a claim, contact the original installer or dealer first. If they are unavailable, visit our website at www.velozppf.com
Retain a copy of this warranty and proof of purchase, which must include the name of the original installer/dealer, purchase price, and product details (e.g., Suprere, Supreme Plus, Matte, Super Black). These documents are necessary to process your claim.
For valid claims, an authorized VELOZ installer will remove the defective film and reapply new product(s) to the areas determined by VELOZ to be covered under the warranty.
Implied Warranties and Conditions
All implied warranties and conditions, including but not limited to the implied warranty or condition of merchantability, the implied warranty or condition of fitness for a particular purpose, and any implied warranty or condition arising out of a course of dealing or performance, custom, or usage of trade, are limited in duration to the applicable warranty period.
Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited by law, VELOZ and the installer/dealer shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the products, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, regardless of the legal theory asserted, including warranty, contract, negligence, or strict liability. Some states/regions/countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply.
Warranty Limitations
The warranty and remedies described above apply exclusively to the specified product(s). VELOZ installers/dealers cannot modify or extend this limited warranty. VELOZ reserves the right to determine the validity of all claims and may deny claims that do not meet the stated criteria. Replacement of the defective film, including labor, is the exclusive remedy. Liability does not extend to any other damages, whether incidental, consequential, or otherwise.
Material Handling & Storage
To ensure product quality and reduce wasted time and material, follow these best practices for handling top-coated thermal polyurethane (TPU) paint protection film:
- Avoid putting pressure on the film surface while it is on the roll to prevent pressure marks.
- Handle cartons with care to avoid pressure marks from rough handling.
- Gloss may fade due to pressure, long-term storage, and high temperatures. Use a heat gun to restore gloss. VELOZ uses a protective gloss-enhancing sheet on the top coat.
- Store the product in an environment with temperatures below 90°F and relative humidity between 40% and 60%.
- Use the film within one year of purchase.
- Avoid repackaging the film in a box different from its original size to prevent damage.
- Ensure a clean workspace when rewinding or cutting the film to avoid surface marks.
- Repack used film tightly to avoid tunneling and maintain the original packaging.
- Apply the film in environments with temperatures above 50°F to prevent adhesive issues.
- Use water mixed with a neutral detergent or IPA as a pre-handling liquid before applying the film.
- For non-automotive purposes, contact the manufacturer for specific material handling requirements.
- VELOZ is not responsible for damage caused by mishandling, improper storage, recutting, repacking, or storage for more than one year.
Installation & Care
Follow these guidelines for installing and caring for VELOZ top-coated thermal polyurethane (TPU) paint protection films to ensure quality installation and longevity:
- Light scratches on the film can be removed using hot water or a heat gun. Scratches that penetrate the top coat will not self-heal.
- Use a rubber squeegee during installation to avoid scratches. Test tools before use.
- Install in a clean area free of airborne dust and particulates.
- Test waxes or after-market sealants for compatibility with PPF top coats.
- Hand-wash vehicles with PPF to avoid scratches from automatic car washes.
- Avoid excessive force/stretching during installation to prevent damage. Test the film’s stretchability before installation.
- Maintenance:
- Do not wash the vehicle for 48 hours post-installation.
- Avoid directly spraying the edges of the PPF with high-pressure water.
- Do not use pigmented, abrasive waxes, or harsh chemicals on the film.
- Wax the car and film at least every 6 months after compatibility testing.
- Remove stains promptly using isopropyl alcohol.
- Advise vehicle owners on proper maintenance to avoid discoloration.
